Flor Source was conceived in 1998 to serve the designer/builder community. The founding partners of the company were Bob Plotkin and Rick Rosen. Their goal was to bring to an enormous selection of product to the designer/builder community with the guaranteed lowest prices wholesale to the trade.

Bob is the former owner of a major retail store in Miami from 1958 to 2000 and Rick began his career in the flooring industry in 1981. Rick ran the Coconut Creek showroom for eleven years before passing away in December of 2009. Daniel Plotkin was brought in as a partner in 2005 after having successfully established the Jupiter showroom in 2000.

We have enjoyed an expansive and flourishing membership consisting of designers, decorators, builders, and contractors for the past 12 years. Flor Source continues to be the leading source of the most up-to-date selection of flooring available to South Florida’s designer/builder community.
